Dr. Fernanda Beinotti has been practicing acupuncture since 2012, completing her education in Brazil. Her passion for this profession has kept her continuing to study, and she has totaled more than 2700 course hours so far. In 2019, she validated her education and received her certification to work in Canada. She is a registered member of the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada.
Dr. Beinotti’s previous work in Brazil allowed her to gain experience in a variety of settings working with a wide spectrum of clients. This included children, adults, and geriatric patients with acute and chronic diseases. She has also taught acupuncture disciplines at EBRAMEC College (Brazilian School of Chinese Medicine). These experiences have helped hone her skills in various treatments, especially mental illnesses, pain management, and neurology. She uses traditional acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, scalp acupuncture, moxibustion, electrical acupuncture and even Tui Na.
Dr. Beinotti previously worked as a physiotherapist in Brazil, and also obtained her Masters in Science with a focus in Neurology in 2010, with extensive experience in rehabilitation. However, she is not able to work as a physiotherapist in Canada just yet.
When she is not in the office, Fernanda loves gathering with friends and family, and playing with her puppy Milo. She also really enjoys cooking, singing, and dancing. Her determination, efforts, and resilience brought her to Canada, to make a new beginning in her life.
