I Love to Read Month

Home Blog I Love to Read Month

Once again, February is I Love to Read Month, and our office is full of bookworms who never go far without a good book. So as the month comes to an end, just like last year, we’re sharing some of our favourite reads with you!

  • The Hidden Messages in Water by Masaru Emoto
    (Recommended by Lindsay)
This is a captivating and moving read. The truths confirmed in this book are beautiful in and of themselves, and the implications of these truths, resoundingly so.
  • If I Go Missing by Brianna Jonnie with Nahanni Shingoose
    (Recommended by Kim)
This book is based on a letter written by an Indigenous girl to the Winnipeg Police Force. Accompanied with beautiful pictures, this book will captivate you!
  • The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides
    (Recommended by Dr. Munn)
This book came highly recommended by one of my patients, and they weren’t wrong! A thriller from start to finish, I couldn’t put this one down, and finished it in just over a day. It had me guessing until the very end, with a twist I didn’t see coming!
  • Many Lives, Many Masters by Brian L. Weiss, MD
    (Recommended by Kim)
This book shows how your past life can affect your current life. It is fun to see the progression of the patient when she addresses every event in her past life, that affects her current life.
  • Strange Planet by Nathan W. Pyle
    (Recommended by Dr. Munn)
If you haven’t come across these adorable little aliens yet, you’re missing out. Navigating regular human behaviours and highlighting the strangeness behind it, but doing so with very literal terminology, they’ll definitely make you chuckle.
  • Oh, The Places You’ll Go! By Dr. Seuss
    (Recommended by Lindsay)
Not just for young ones, this Dr. Seuss classic continues to be relevant as it travels with you through the years. A lovely composition of life’s truths and lessons, you will find comfort and joy knowing you are not alone, and that Dr. Seuss understands!

Have you read any of these books, or have a favourite to recommend to us? Let us know in the comments!

Happy Reading!
